Zo simpel hoort informatie over medicatie te zijn. Een overvloed aan informatiebronnen anno 2018 heeft niet geleid tot minder fouten in medicijngebruik. Wij pakken deze trend aan door de focus te verleggen naar eenvoud en eenduidigheid. Verkeerd gebruik van medicijnen is jaarlijks aanleiding voor meer dan 40.000 ziekenhuisopnamen. Dit zijn ruim 800 volle bussen aan patiënten. Bijna de helft van deze opnamen kan mogelijk worden voorkomen. Van deze slachtoffers ondervinden 1800 langdurige gevolgen. En voor ruim 1200 mensen heeft het incident zelfs een fatale afloop¹ Verkeerd medicijngebruik kost de gemeenschap jaarlijks zo’n 85 miljoen euro.
